The Balearic Island of Mallorca has long been considered the centre for yachting in the Mediterranean and in April, the city will host the 36th edition of the highly successful Palma International Boat Show (April 27th – May 1st) featuring over 260 exhibitors. This year 600 boats will be exhibiting with 300 of them on the water. Over 100 superyachts will also exhibit in this highly popular nautical event. Over the past two years more superyachts have been seen in Mallorca’s marinas and waters than ever before. The island is completely geared up to offer all the facilities that they need. Mallorca has a total of 47 ports and marinas around its 554 km of coastline and in Palma alone, there are 10 marinas with approximately 3,506 moorings a total of approximately 968 of those moorings serve yachts over 15 metres (421 are over 15 metres, 309 are over 20 metres and 238 are over 24 metres).
